The Dedication
“For the people we haven’t met yet—and the conversations waiting to happen.”
Our Curation
The fifth founding dedication was always a little different.
It wasn’t submitted by one person or created for one. It was written for a room of people we had not met yet—and for the conversations we hoped flowers might begin.
On 12 and 13 September, that dedication left the page and came to life at the first Weekend Blume Bar with KOHA Bistro. Buckets of colour became an open invitation: pause, choose a stem and make something of your own.
Some guests followed a favourite colour. Others built their bouquets slowly, one flower at a time. Friends compared stems, families chose together and strangers found themselves talking across the flower bar.
Each selection was gathered into a little bouquet and finished with a message. No two were the same—because each one carried the eye, instinct and story of the person who made it.
We called it “The Gathering” because Blume believes flowers can do more than mark an occasion. That weekend, they gave us a reason to slow down, share a table and be present with one another.
This is why Blume is here.
