Founding story 02
The Climb
Resilience

The Dedication
“For the one who has carried self-doubt, battled imposter syndrome, and felt every emotion in between: thank you for never giving up. Even on the days you slacked, questioned yourself, or felt like you weren’t enough, you always chose to wake up and try again. Here’s to climbing your mountain, one step at a time, and remembering to pause and enjoy the view along the way — prolly sipping matcha on your way up! With love, to young Jill: you’ve come so much further than you think, and the best is yet to come.”
— Jill, 24
Our Curation
This founding dedication was not written for someone else, but from Jill to herself — a thank-you letter to the younger version of her who kept getting up on the hard days, sipping matcha somewhere along the way and still climbing.
Most dedications we receive are for someone else: a friend, a daughter, a mother. This one looks back with tenderness. At 24, Jill writes to the younger version of herself who carried self-doubt and imposter syndrome, yet kept choosing to wake up and try again.
We built this bouquet around sage green for the quiet, steady calm it takes to keep climbing. Jill mentioned matcha more than once, and some details are worth keeping, so the greens became a quiet thread through the arrangement.
Eryngium for resilience with a little armour on it — for imposter syndrome and the days that felt like too much.
Sunflowers for turning towards the light anyway, even on the days it didn’t feel earned.
Yellow gerbera for how much further she has come than she gives herself credit for.
We named it “The Climb” for the moment she describes — not the summit, but a pause partway up the mountain: matcha in hand, finally able to look back and see the distance covered.
Palette: Sage, yellow and moss green — matcha-toned on purpose, grounded rather than celebratory.
This isn’t a bouquet for a finish line. It’s for the ongoing climb.
